Oops! It's almost May-need to post my Scrapbook Challenge page for April

Hi Everyone!  Happy last day of April!  I almost forgot to post my page for the Monthly Scrapbook Challenge over at Christina's blog Creations with Christina.  If you are not familiar with her blog, you need to check it out.  She has tons of videos on projects she makes with her Cricut and other products she uses.  She is a very talented person.

I was able to attend a weekend crop recently and dedicated the time to scrapbooking my adopted daughter's "placement" scrapbook.   Since she is adopted, we don't have a "baby" book.  I decided to create a "first year" book which will cover from the time she was placed with us to her finalization.  After I complete this book then I will do a "Destiny" themed book which will include: school, sports, birthdays, etc.  I think you get it the picture.

Recipe:
DCWV paper stack (old)
Cricut cartridge Straight from the Nest
colored cardstock from stash
Scattered flourishes are from the leftovers from the tree image
Xyron Sticker Maker and Adhesive

So? What do you think?  I am very pleased with it.  Love the phrase "Welcome to the Nest".  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! It's going to be sunny here in Ohio (which has been rare) so we will have some outside time today. Soccer game later.

TTFN, Scrappymama Elaine
